Not that it wasn't great to hear the song at 6 o'clock. It's just that I don't&nbsp;have a Broadway voice. I also think that sophomores in high school just can't appreciate this awesome music. My daughter, a senior, thought I was being somewhat strange. However, she enjoys Broadway a bit more than my son. Thus, it wasn't as much torture.</p><p>So where am I going with this?</p><p>Pioneer Drama Service has its own 60s musical. The show, GROOVY, was written by Tim Kelly and the music, of course, was written by Bill Francoeur.&nbsp;</p><p>Many people ask me about Bill Francoeur. Well, I saw him yesterday. He walked into the office and handed over the CD for his latest show.&nbsp;(It will be released in a month or so.) When he was composing the music, he did his research. He would often tell me how he was doing a song that had a 60s &quot;feel.&quot; He would name specific groups and styles.</p><p>I've pulled together two videos that are on YouTube. The first is the song 'Music, Beads and Flowers&quot; by Bill Francoeur that is in our musical GROOVY.
