Children's theatre: What are my suggestions?

It's always exciting to talk to a theatre director. Many times during the year I'll have the opportunity to talk with high school directors, middle school directors or community theatre directors.

Whenever I talk with any school director (often with community theatre directors) about my personal suggestions on children's theatre plays and children's theatre musicals, I'll always speak with complete honesty.

Many of my children's theatre favorites are Vera Morris and Bill Francoeur children's musicals. For non-musical children's theatre plays, I love the humor of Karen Boettcher-Tate or Kathryn Schultz Miller. However, I think Pioneer Drama Service carries the right show for any children's theatre company. The music in our children's musicals is fun for the actors and loved by the audiences. As for our non-musicals, there is an abundance of humor and action. We have excellent stageplays. These stageplays are wonderful for children and any group of adults and young audiences. You will always find quality playscripts for productions of any budget or size!

Attached are a number of links to a few of Pioneer's children's theatre plays and children's theatre musicals. You may also visit the two websites of children's theatres who have done our shows. Any questions about Pioneer? Give them a call and I'm sure you'll find them to be excellent references to our company.
